Farmers can get grant for Feedlync
It has become increasingly essential for dairy farmers to regularly review milk recording data with on-farm consultants.
And now, with the confirmation that the Feedlync digital feed management system is eligible for grant funding in the latest round of the Farming Equipment and Technology Fund (FETF) 2026 (Item FETF421), this is the opportune time to get added value from that data.
This represents an excellent opportunity to introduce the Feedlync digital feed management system, and in doing so, gain even more value from milk recording data.
Increased value of data
Milk recording with NMR provides producers with a deeper dive to support day to day herd management decisions. Feedlync, meanwhile, has been developed to meet farmer requests for a feed management system that is intuitive and easy to operate, providing a complete overview of feed intake, efficiency and costs.
Combining the insights gleaned from milk recording data, with the ability to analyse feed accuracy quickly and easily, can help support better informed decision-making.
Apply for a grant NOW!
Applications close on 28th April and are restricted to England farmers only, so there is only a small window to apply. There is a contribution of £1398 towards the cost of the system available to successful applicants and there is no requirement to place an order or commit to anything before the grant application is processed and approved.
Therefore, producers are urged to act now, and follow the simple grant application process here. The grant funding is available to farm businesses based and registered in England.
How it works
Connecting straight into the mixer's weighing system, Feedlync ensures feed is mixed consistently and accurately so that the correct ration is delivered every time. This helps to save on feed costs, reduce wastage and support healthy cow performance. It shows exactly what was fed, when, and by who, giving a clear oversight, and reliable data, to manage the farm.
Users can see production costs on a per cow or group basis, leading to better, accurate and informed decision making. Producers can quickly and easily analyse feed accuracy, allowing for an instant overview of usage and consumption.
For example, producers can use NMR data to look at the impact of ration changes, as recorded in Feedlync, on animals at different stages of lactation, in terms of yield of milk, fat and protein, making any informed adjustments accordingly.

Operated via the iOS or Android app and an online portal, the system is completely cloud based. This enables farm nutritionists to manage the diets even when not on farm. They can change the rations, update ingredient analysis, and manage pens and groups on the go.
With less feed used to produce a litre of milk, users can expect a return on investment within an average of just 94 days. With grant support, these returns could be met even earlier.
