Due Diligence

NMR coordinates the testing of ex-farm raw milk samples for Dairy UK’s Due Diligence Scheme. The scheme provides testing for a range of contaminants, including antibiotics, anti-parasiticides, anti-inflammatories, QACs, heavy metals, melamine, aflatoxin, dioxins and non-dioxins like PCBs, and pesticides.

Farms from across the UK are randomly selected for testing each quarter. The scheme uses a risk-based approach and the number of samples tested may vary by the type of contaminant, geographic region and time of year.
