A day in the life of...your milk recording organisation

NMR contributes a regular column in the monthly publication British Dairying. In September we focused on Northern Ireland farmers Stephen and David Morrison's use of GenoCells on their County Antrim herd and in October we are looking at our BVD service.
However we also ran a double page spread all about what happens behind the scenes once the milk sample is taken. The feature was written in a “A day in the life of…your milk recording organisation” style, starting with the ACs and ASMs travelling around the country delivering empty boxes to milk recorders, answering farmers’ questions and meeting them for CCSRs, then following the sample into the labs in Four Ashes or Hillington, zipping over to Harrogate to hear what the customer service team does and finishing with the NMR fleet preparing to pick up the samples from the local depots before the whole routine starts again!
