UK Dairy Roadmap KPI Report
NMR have supported the UK Dairy Roadmap in supplying anonymised whole herd annual averages for nineteen KPIs (fig 1) for the past six years. This data will then be used to support targets for both processors and farmers. The UK Dairy Roadmap have recently launched their new website here.

The UK Dairy Roadmap was established in 2008 and sets ambitious targets for environmental improvement within the industry. Data collected and analysed through the Dairy Roadmap highlights current trends and the direction of travel in key areas relating to the industry’s environmental sustainability. For example, production efficiency gains at farm level have resulted in a 22% decrease in the emissions from producing a litre of milk from 1990 to 2023.
At NMR we have utilised the data we are sharing to create a KPI report (figure 2) for a chosen milk pool on those nineteen KPIs. This will allow for milk pools to benchmark vs either an identified group e.g. organic or the remaining NMR database.

Please reach out to either Fiona at fionamo@nmrp.com or your account manager if you would like to see how your milk pool looks.
