EPICOR SPECIALIST – FIXED TERM CONTRACT
 

As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Epicor Specialist for a 6 month period based in our Chippenham office. The Epicor specialist will support the NMR Group in the implementation of Epicor ERP version 10.  The specialist role will focus on delivering the technical solutions for the development and configuration of Epicor version 10 to the NMR Group. Using their Epicor version 10 knowledge, the individual needs to be skilled as well as sufficiently flexible to support the development and delivery of Epicor versions 10 within the NMR Group in a number of ways.
 
As an Epicor Specialist you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Working closely with internal developers to evaluate potential technical solutions within Epicor and advise on best fit solutions for developers to achieve the end objective

  • Undertaking detailed Epicor ERP V 10 analysis

  • Assisting with the development of Epicor screens

  • Ideally the following skills are required Epicor 10 / Crystal reports / C+ / .Net / SSRS / SQL / BAQ / BPM .

 
To be an Epicor Specialist you will be required to have the following Essential Skills:

  • Experience of implementing Epicor ERP systems, specifically version 10

  • Building of strong relationships with the Epicor implementation team

  • Understand and define stakeholder needs and provide recommendations for best solutions

  • Proven experience demonstrated from previous implementation of Epicor projects

  • A team player with good communication skills

  • Experience in areas of the Epicor ERP suite of applications, specifically finance, CRM, order process and delivery and sales management processes

Field Business Manager (FBM) – South West of England

The Field Business Manager will be responsible for the business expansion and profitable sales of NMR products and services within their defined area. As a Field Business Manager you will be responsible for:

  • To be responsible for business expansion and for the profitable sales of NMR products and service provision within your area.

Print Room Operator

As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Part Time Print Room Operator located in Harrogate.

As a Print Room Operator you will:
Be responsible for assisting and supporting the Print Room Manager in the smooth operation of the NMR Print Room, providing a professional customer service to internal and external customers. To ensure maximum productivity in the production of paper reports, ad hoc printing and printing plastic cattle ear tags through compliance with working practices and adhering to quality standards. The quality of customer service, communications and products are to be maintained at the highest standard along with the promotion and maintenance of professionalism in all aspects of work. The role involves a certain amount of heavy lifting and potentially long periods standing.

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER (CAM) –East Devon & Dorset

 
As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Customer Account Manager (CAM) to cover the defined area above. As a Customer Account Manager you will be responsible for business expansion and profitable promotion of NMR Group products and services within the area through the delivery of customer and non-customer visits. As Customer Account Manager you will undertake the following responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the retention and development of NMR Group Services to the designated customers and non-customers in the area with a key focus on increasing spend

  • To manage all customer facing issues apart from recording service delivery on an ongoing basis

  • To maintain accurate and timely records of customer and non-customer contact on Customer Relationship system

  • To ensure the NMR profile is raised in whatever way is achievable and cost effective to the NMR Group
    To be responsible for building key industry partner links in the area in order to gain new business

  • To maintain effective knowledge of NMR products and services on a day to day basis

  • To undertake the organisation of farm walks, workshops and various events that NMR offer its customers

 GENOMICS BUSINESS MANAGER

 
As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Genomics Business Manager who will be home based with national travel.  The Genomics market will be worth $20 billion by 2020 according to the Economist.  NMR has developed a market-leading product called GeneTracker and has a robust business plan in place to assist in capturing some of the projected market with a three-year window. The role will be responsible for developing and implementation of the business plan to maximise the return from NMR Group’s existing investment in GeneTracker, as well as planning future potential investments in this sector. This includes counselling, canvassing, marketing, and implementation of the overall business plans.  In essence, the GBM is responsible for the P&L of this business unit/department.
 
The GBM is to provide technical backup and key account management to new and existing users and will be working closely with all involved in the delivery chain, especially third parties such as farm consultants and vets.  The GBM must also be able to communicate and work efficiently with other NMR field colleagues such as the Area Field Managers (AFMs) and Customer Account Managers (CAMs).  The role requires the individual to manage the team, made up of Genomic Counsellors (GCs) and to ensure targets are met for them as well as themselves.  This includes the overall managing of sales efforts such as the 20-cow pilot scheme and other on-farm educational events such as farm walks. Ensuring a good network of third party links will be essential in marketing the product range.
 
The GBM will be required to work with our “in house” industry specialists to develop the market and promote through the NMR Field team to existing NMR customers and non-customers and to co-ordinate on-farm events such as farm walks. The individual will need to keep up to date with competitor products and services and ensure this knowledge is imparted to the Field team, Customer Services and management. We require the individual to have an appetite to learn and develop in the role through self-study and support from the team in genomics and genetics. Practical experience of dairy farming, livestock farming is beneficial but not essential.
 
Key Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the delivery of key marketing strategies, for example the 20-cow pilot schemes

  • To coordinate with 3rd parties directly while working alongside the GCs & other key field colleagues

  • To provide analytics directly to farm and also at a higher level to the 3rd parties

  • To undertake studies and projects to drive the sales and turnover of GeneTracker in accordance to the business plan

  • To use and develop the non-customer database, the Customer Relations Management (CRM) system and keep market intelligence on competitor’s services up to date

  • To ensure that the relevant Health and Safety regulations and statutory requirements are fully complied with at all times

  • Any other additional tasks that management may deem appropriate from time to time

Laboratory Technician

As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Laboratory Technician located at the NML Four Ashes Laboratory.
The Laboratory Technician will provide the knowledge and skills to assist with the ongoing testing and registration of samples as well as basic maintenance of instruments that are fundamental to the laboratories operation.  Carrying out your duties you will be required to work a shift consisting of five days on including weekends with two off during the week.  From time to time training and cover may be required during the laboratories operational times on the night shift.
 
As a Laboratory Technician you will:
 

  • To register and analyse samples submitted to the laboratory following published Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards.

  • To ensure that any instrumentation that is used during analyses is operated to established KPI’s.

  • To monitor and apply any amendments made to standard working practices.

  • To be responsible forcompleting laboratory records accurately

  • To assist in the maintenance of the supply of consumables and reagents utilised in the laboratory

  • To report any sample registration or sample analyses that do not conform to standard procedures.

  • To ensure the quality of customer communications, both verbal and written are of the highest standard.

  • To understand and follow all health and safety procedures involved with both the site and individual workstations.

PROJECT COORDINATOR

 
As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Project Coordinator who will be based in the Four Ashes office. The role of the Product Co-ordinator is to work with the business development team on the completion of projects that are initiated with third parties. The role will be responsible for monitoring progress in the fulfilment of project objectives and report to the business development team and wider NML management on performance in these projects.  Alongside the focus on specific projects, the project co-ordinator will also be expected to assist with other office based project work at Four Ashes, in particular assist with responses to technical dairy queries received from farmers and industry bodies. The role will be based in our Four Ashes office although some national travel maybe required from time to time assisting with training provisions.
