Customer Account Manager
An opportunity has arisen for a Customer Account Manager (CAM). The area to be covered includes Leicestershire & Rutland, Nottinghamshire, Norfolk, Northants, Bucks, Beds, Oxon, Herts, part Suffolk & Derbyshire.
The main focus of the CAM is to be responsible for expanding business and the profitable promotion of NMR products within the area, through the structured delivery of customer and non- customer visits. You will be working closely with the Area Field Managers (AFMs), to ensure high quality service and on-going business development through your extensive knowledge of the wide range of products that the NMR Group offers.
The CAM will be working to raise the profile of the NMR group through farm walks and other events such as herd competitions and by developing relationships with third party customers.
The ideal candidate must live in the area, deal confidently with customers, have excellent organisational skills, a commercial aptitude and be computer literate. They will have a real interest in dairy cows and the skill to organise and advocate best use of our services. A commission structure is in place to reward growth of business in your area.
The post is home based and requires a full driving licence. The number of farms to be covered by the CAM will be based upon local logistics and will be set by the Field Business Manager. Training will be on-going to support you in this role.

Software Support Analyst
National Milk Records (NMR) is the leading supplier of milk recording services in the UK, providing management information on individual cow's performance in terms of milk quality, yield and fertility. It is acknowledged by the industry that NMR is the market leader in the provision and support of dairy software in Great Britain.
NMR has a vacancy for a Software Support Analyst working in the Harrogate office. The post involves working as part of the Software Support team to provide timely and accurate telephone technical support/online training to NMR customers (dairy farmers/vets/professional advisors) and NMR field staff, in a range of Dairy Herd Management software programmes.
The candidate would need to have sound IT skills, be confident in use of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Outlook. They should be able to find their way around Windows PC’s including folder structures, Control Panel, installing and uninstalling software.
The ability to learn quickly is vital, as is the ability to analyse problems and find solutions.
Previous experience in telephone Customer Service/Software Support roles would be an advantage as would IT qualifications. The ability to listen carefully and interpret what others are saying, then to be able to explain solutions in simple, concise terms is needed for this post.
Dairy industry knowledge would be an advantage. You should demonstrate effective interpersonal and time management skills, be highly self-motivated and flexible.
Driving licence would be needed as there may be occasions where visits to other premises for on site support/workshops may be necessary.
