Project Coordinator


An exciting opportunity exists for a 12 month full time placement within the NML business development team.  The role suits an individual who relishes a dynamic and innovative working environment and is to work both independently and as part of a high performing team.
 
Based at NML’s laboratory at Four Ashes, Stafford, the role will involve working on the development and promotion of various testing services covering cow health, parlour hygiene and dairy constituents.  Activities will include working with dairy processors, vet practices and consultants on service provision, organising and supporting promotional events, developing new company literature and assisting with responses to various queries coming in to NML from farmers, vets and other industry bodies.
 
The business is looking for a highly motivated individual who is a good communicator and has a strong background in dairying.  The successful candidate will benefit from a competitive salary and an extensive Personal Development Plan.  Some UK travel will be required.
 
Essential Key Skills:

Area Field Manager Tier 2


As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Area Field Manager Tier 2 (AFM) based in partly Somerset and Devon. The AFM will be responsible for effective service delivery within the area by ensuring a motivated, well trained and supported group of self-employed individuals to provide milk recording services to NMR customers. The role will also be responsible for the management of an employed Area Coordinator on a day to day basis. The AFM will work with the Customer Account Manager (CAM), providing effective cooperation and co-ordination of resource between the two roles which will ensure high quality service and continued business development in the area. Team working will be fundamental for the continued success of the area. This role will be home based.
 
The role responsibilities:
  • To be responsible for the delivery and quality of service provided to approximately 200 herds
  • To ensure the retention of NMR customers
  • To effectively manage the self-employed milk recorders and samplers on a day to day basis
  • To undertake recruitment and training of self-employed Individuals
  • To manage and support the employed Area Coordinator on a day to day basis
  • To be responsible for data quality in the area
  • To work closely with the Customer Account Manager (CAM) to ensure high quality service and continued business development
  • To undertake the promotion of new services as they are developed in the business
  • To assist in additional projects as and when required
  • To maintain accurate and timely records on the Customer Relations System
  • To ensure that new herds are commenced in a timely manner
  • To undertake extensive driving on a daily basis.

Dayshift Laboratory Technician

 

As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Laboratory Technician located at the NML Four Ashes Laboratory.
The Laboratory Technician will provide the knowledge and skills to assist with the ongoing testing and registration of samples as well as basic maintenance of instruments that are fundamental to the laboratories operation.  Carrying out your duties you will be required to work a shift consisting of five days on including weekends with two off during the week.  From time to time training and cover may be required during the laboratories operational times on the night shift.
As a Laboratory Technician you will:
 

  • To register and analyse samples submitted to the laboratory following published Standard Operating Procedures and Quality Standards.

  • To ensure that any instrumentation that is used during analyses is operated to established KPI’s.

  • To monitor and apply any amendments made to standard working practices.

  • To be responsible forcompleting laboratory records accurately

  • To assist in the maintenance of the supply of consumables and reagents utilised in the laboratory

  • To report any sample registration or sample analyses that do not conform to standard procedures.

  • To ensure the quality of customer communications, both verbal and written are of the highest standard.

  • To understand and follow all health and safety procedures involved with both the site and individual workstations.

Customer Account Manager


As part of the NMR Group of Companies, we require a Full Time Customer Account Manager (CAM) based in Northern Ireland.  To be responsible for business expansion and profitable promotion of NMR Group products and services within the area through the delivery of customer or non-customer visits. To manage the relationships with customers to ensure a strong rapport.  Be able to demonstrate On Farm software and linkages to farmer customers and third parties. The Customer Account Manager will need to ensure a high quality of service is delivered and there is ongoing business development. Team working with the rest of the Field Team will be vital for the continued success of the area. This role is Home Based
 
Key Responsibilities:
                    
  • To be responsible for the retention and development of NMR Group Services to the designated customers and non-customers in the area with a key focus on increasing spend
  • To manage all customer facing issues apart from recording service delivery on an ongoing basis
  • To maintain accurate and timely records of customer and non-customer contact on Customer Relationship system
  • To ensure the NMR profile is raised in whatever way is achievable and cost effective to the NMR Group
    To be responsible for building key industry partner links in the area in order to gain new business
  • To maintain effective knowledge of NMR products and services on a day to day basis
  • To undertake the organisation of farm walks, workshops and various events that NMR offer its customers
  • To represent NMR professionally at third party events in the area
  • To assist the Field Business Manager as and when required to ensure service delivery is maintained
  • To undertake various projects as and when required
  • To cover a wide area of farms on an appointment basis which will involve extensive driving.
