Tier 1 Area Field Manager – West Devon
We are recruiting for a tier 1 Area Field Manager (AFM) to cover an area between Lyme Regis, Exeter and Wellington. The AFM will have responsibility for approx. 120 customers in a compact geographical area.
The role carries responsibility relating to customer service delivery, data quality and management of the self-employed samplers and milk recorders.
The ideal candidate must live in the area, deal confidently with customers and self-employed recorders and samplers, have excellent organisational skills, a commercial aptitude and be computer literate. They will have a real interest in dairy cows and the skill to organise and advocate best use of our services. This role forms an integral part of the South West team.
The post is home based and requires a full driving licence. A company vehicle, mobile phone and laptop are provided. Training will be on-going to support you in this role.

NML Wolverhampton - Service Engineer
National Milk Laboratories (NML) provides payment and quality testing for all major milk buyers in the UK such as Dairy Crest, Arla Foods, Wiseman and First Milk. NML receives bulk milk samples from 98% of UK dairy farms for every collection of milk made by the milk buyer. NML also runs national statutory testing programmes on behalf of DEFRA and the Food Standards Agency.
We are recruiting for an engineer to maintain and repair milk testing and associated equipment in the NML laboratory in Wolverhampton, working alongside the NML engineering team. Training will be provided but candidates will ideally have experience and or qualifications in electronics, pneumatics, liquid flow systems and a general competence and tenacity to diagnose a fault and rectify it.
Core hours would be a 5 day working week from Monday to Friday, however a flexible approach to cover leave and travel to other sites at short notice is essential.

Laboratory Technician, Disease and Microbiology - Permanent
National Milk Laboratories are looking for a Science Technician to work in its Disease and Microbiology Laboratory.
Applicant should ideally be experienced in both Microbiology and iElisa testing but experience in either field would be considered, together with a proven record of dealing with a high volume of samples. The role will include, but not exclusively, Microbiology testing (plate culture and Petrifilm) iElisa testing for diseases such as (BVD, Johnes and IBR) and General laboratory duties.
Applicants must be willing to work a shift pattern of 4-days-on-4-days-off inclusive of weekends and bank holidays (8 hours per day, 08.30-16.30).
