Trevor Lloyd - Chairman

Trevor Lloyd is a partner in a dairy farming business, currently milking 380 cows in North Wales. He also has over 10 years experience as a non-executive director on various dairy industry boards. He was appointed by the Minister for Farming to serve on the Milk Development Council from 2003-2007 and then Dairy Co. from 2006-2009. Trevor was also Chairman of MDCel, an independent national organisation responsible for genetic evaluations and publication of all genetic information from the UK national dairy herd. He also has extensive experience of agricultural politics having served for 15 years in various industry organisations including the National NFU Dairy Board, Welsh NFU Dairy Board and the NFU Welsh Council. Trevor is currently a regional director of the NFU Mutual Insurance Society Ltd. 

Andy Warne - Managing Director 

Andy Warne is the Managing Director of National Milk Records. He joined NMR as the Managing Director in 2002 and at the same time joined the Milk Pension Fund acting as a Trustee. He acted as the Chairman of the Milk Pension Fund between 2009 and 2013. Andy’s previous managerial roles include being the European Managing Director of TNT Container Logistics and the Managing Director of Arca Systems UK. Andy graduated with a BSC in Applied Biology. Whilst at NMR Andy has managed the process by which the business has restructured to focus on its core competence in milk recording and built a new business offering based on payment testing.

Mark Frankcom - Finance Director

Mark joined NMR as Finance Director in September 2016. He qualified as an accountant in 1993, and has experience across a broad range of industries, including FMCG, telecoms and motor trade. In 2005 Mark joined Milk Link as a Director of Finance, having senior responsibility for financial stewardship and restructuring during a time of critical changes in the UK dairy industry. More recently Mark has been co-owner and Managing Director of an award-winning micro-brewery. In 2008 Mark was admitted as a fellow of the institute of management accountants becoming FCMA.

Mark Butcher - Independent Non-Executive Director

In addition to being a non-executive director of NMR,  Mark also works as a non-executive director for a number of public and private companies. He has over 20 years experience working in the City and was an executive director of GPG (UK) Holdings plc which was the UK investment arm of Guinness Peat Group plc where he managed a significant proportion of that Group's investments. He has wide experience in international accounting, corporate finance and banking transactions and has served on the Boards of Autologic Holdings plc, Newbury Racecourse plc and Nationwide Accident Repair Services plc. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Cape Town and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in South Africa.

Dr James Andrews - Independent Non-Executive Director 

Dr Andrews has significant experience within the dairy, pharmaceuticals, financial services and consumer goods industries, spanning over 13 years and three continents, including positions at Bain & Company and Felcana. His surgical veterinary experience is valuable to NMR where livestock is central to our key business areas. Dr Andrews is currently the CEO and Director of Felcana, a company that helps empower vets with data analysis and tools to treat disease more effectively. Additionally, he works as a freelance strategy consultant where his achievements include leading the five-year strategy development and implementation planning for a leading UK dairy business. Also, in a consulting capacity, Dr Andrews was responsible for revising the product strategy for a US-based food security business resulting in a move away from hardware sales into SaaS. Dr Andrews' comprehensive education includes a Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery from the University of Edinburgh, in his final year he attended the Norwegian Veterinary School where he undertook a four-month ERASMUS to participate in clinical rotations. Additionally, Dr Andrews, completed his masters at INSEAD Business School in France, where he was also a member of the Entrepreneurial, Healthcare and Energy Clubs.
