NMR names new area manager in Cumbria

Vicki Edgar is the new area field manager in Cumbria for dairy information company NMR. She is responsible for the NMR services in the county which involves co-ordinating the team of milk recorders in their day-to-day activities.

Vicki also liaises directly with producers and vets on the wider range of NMR services such as disease testing and dairy management software like Herd Companion and Interherd.

From a farming family, Vicki studied Dairying at Lancashire College and has worked on a number of beef, sheep and dairy farms in the area. She also set up a poultry housing business that is now managed by her husband as part of the family's farming business.

A keen horsewoman, Vicki is a qualified riding instructor.
