New Manager takes on Northern Area
Fran Graves is NMR's new area manager in the area from north Lincolnshire through South Yorkshire and into east Lancashire.
A Lincolnshire girl, Fran is based near the Lincolnshire Wolds and has been a milk recorder in the area on seven farms for the past year. She has combined this job with a customer services role for the local council, processing claims for housing and council tax benefit. Fran has also worked on a 600 beef suckler herd.
As an area field manager Fran is responsible for the day-today management of the milk recording team in her area and for liaising directly with producers and vets on the wider range of NMR services such as disease testing and the dairy management software, Herd Companion and InterHerd.
"I see this role as combining my experience on dairy farms with my customer service skills," says Fran. "I am now really looking forward to widening my knowledge of the dairy sector and providing a valuable NMR service for customers across my area."
