For those who register cattle with HUK, we are very pleased to confirm that if you wish to pay your registration fees on a monthly basis, using a fee based on the number of animals shown on the NMR recording statement, then all you have to do is complete the attached form and return it to NMR. This process is called THR. Once your completed form has been received, HUK will be notified electronically and they will then arrange the invoicing.
As many of you are aware you can register animals with the Society via NMR's impelPRO software at the same time as you are applying for BCMS passports.
It is a clear demonstration of the cooperation which exists between NMR and HUK and is solely geared to reducing hassle, duplication and bureaucracy.
INTERNET/TELEPHONE REGISTRATION
Important: On THR you must either telephone in your registrations or use the Internet registration service.
You will need your pin number each time you register calves over the telephone or on the internet.
Please note the freephone number is exclusively for telephone registration:
0800 980 8565 between 8am-5pm
Passport Applications for members in England, Scotland and Wales are now available via telephone registration for both pedigree and non-pedigree animals.
When applying for passports it will be necessary for you to provide:
- Dam's current full ear tag number
- BCMS breed code you wish to use on the passport application
- A signed agreement form to enable HUK to process your passport application (view and print form here). [Please ignore if you have already completed and returned the form.]
Important: All applications for passports must be advised by telephone or registered via NMR impelPRO, no later than fourteen days from the date of birth; otherwise applications for passports must be made manually. It is also important that you check all passports have been returned via BCMS and that the passport applications are destroyed.
